The grandmother recounted bullets illuminating the night sky, whereas the mother swore they were shooting stars, and the daughter listened closely to their stories. As years go by, she climbs her own hardships and writes her own story that will be retold for years to come, passed down to the next generation.

Nalye Lor is an illustrator born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She connects organizations with their audiences through fun, bright artwork with plenty of visual movement to hold onto the gaze. With a professional background in localization marketing and entertainment, Nalye is inspired to tell visual stories that transcend, founded in human emotions and experiences. Her most recent projects include a collaboration with the Colorado Avalanche team to design a jersey for AAPI month, and installing a mural on Denver Food Rescue's shipping container, partnered with Colorado artist, Hannah Elstad.
