Title: A Grandmother’s Story, 2025
Medium: Digital Illustration
A story that begins in Vietnam crosses many borders, eventually finding home in Colorado. This illustration follows the life of a Hmong grandmother who once lived in bamboo houses, and sacrificed her own dreams to give her children and grandchildren a better future. A story of love, resilience, and strength, one deeply rooted in the Hmong experience.
