Between Three Worlds follows the perspective of our story teller who lives in the space between Korean, Hmong, and American identities. Surrounding them is the family history they carry as they forge their own path, seeking true belonging and cherishing the genuine friendships they build along the way.

Sophia Siong
Sophia Siong is a recent graduate of Regis University where she completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Peace and Justice Studies. Sophia is the eldest daughter to a family of refugees and she carries a strong sense of resilience, cultural pride, and commitment to her community. Through her academic research and work with CAPU, Sophia is passionate about uncovering and sharing the hidden stories of the Hmong community in Colorado. Sophia curated this exhibition after gathering oral histories from the Colorado Hmong community and hopes that viewers can enjoy the meaningful and resilient stories through art.
